Applications Development and Integration (ADI) employs about 120 people in 8 groups. ADI groups are formed around technology stacks and key customers. Our primary activities are business analysis, application design, programming, integration, testing and project management. ADI works closely with customers in primarily administrative units, within UW-Madison and across UW System.
ADI uses a wide-range of tools and techniques to build applications to run in all environments, along with implementing and supporting packaged software, and developing application interfaces.

HRS Infrastructure and HRIS Applications

Works with data related to the employment of persons at the university, including applicants, appointments, vacancies, compensation, and benefits. Responsible for the support of the PeopleSoft Human Resource System (HRS), used by all campuses across UW System.
Manager: Tammie Hodgson
Works with data related to financial management and reporting, supply chain, and research administration. Responsible for the support of the PeopleSoft Shared Financial System (SFS), used by all campuses across UW System.
Manager: Todd Friske
Works with data related to the student administrative experience, including prospects, recruiting, admissions, financials, billing, tuition assessment, financial aid, enrollment, class rosters, grade reporting, and housing. Responsible for the support of the PeopleSoft Student Information System (SIS), used by UW-Madison, along with common SIS interfaces for all other UW System schools and colleges.
Business Intelligence Reporting

Works with data for large-scale data decision making. Responsible for support of data using Interactive Reporting and Oracle Business Intelligence, used by all UW System schools and colleges.
