Here is a list of essential and recommended technology you will want to have on campus.

Antivirus software

Campus requires all computers connected to the campus network to have anti-virus protection. Get your free antivirus software from DoIT. (Login required)

Productivity software

UW-Madison  provides access to free software with the Campus Software Library (New tab, login required).

Data backup

We always recommend you backup your data. Some options for this are using an external drive or a cloud service such as Box or OneDrive.

Extended hardware warranty
