Proposal deadline extended to May 13
Please submit a proposal for the 19th annual UW–Madison Lockdown Technology and Cybersecurity Conference. Living in a Cyber World is the theme of the 2019 conference, which will be held on Wednesday July 17 at the Monona Terrace Convention Center.
Don’t delay, as the deadline for submitting a proposal is end of day May 13.
There will be three different tracks for this year’s Lockdown: technical, strategic, and a half-day Cybersecurity 101 (for those who are just interested in learning more about cybersecurity and how to protect themselves online).
Proposals should address the challenges we face as more devices make up our cyber world. How do we balance our need and expectation of convenience with the possible loss of privacy and protection? Your session could approach this issue from the perspective of an industry, an organization, or our personal lives. What are possible solutions to fix or address these increasing vulnerabilities? Submissions should connect to this theme and have clear takeaways. Sessions that engage the audience are encouraged. Get details and submit your proposal.
