Verify your benefits

Now that it’s 2019, benefits elections you may have made during Annual Benefits Enrollment have taken effect. Re-check your benefits via the Benefit Information app. It summarizes your benefits and dependents, and includes PDF statements recording your benefit elections.

Prepare your taxes

2018 W-2s are already available in MyUW Payroll Information. (Unless you opted out, you’ll also get a paper copy in the postal mail.) While you’re there, go ahead and check those first earnings statements of 2019 for accuracy.

Grow and be well

In 2019, plan to take a course offered by the Office of Human Resources Learning and Talent Development or self-paced learning via Lynda.com. Track your performance.

Remind yourself to make the most of the university’s UWell wellness initiative by adding the My Well-being tile to your MyUW home page.

Staff can use the libraries too, so go ahead and search the library catalog.

Other apps in MyUW

Roles and interest at the university vary, so MyUW has many available tiles that aren’t on home pages by default. Maybe some of these would make your MyUW home page a better starting point for your work.

If you’d like help with any of this, the DoIT Help Desk can help you make the most of MyUW.
