Identity data integration

Identity data integration (IDI) is available for applications with a specific need for information about UW Madison students, faculty or staff. This service facilitates the management of identity data specifically intended for use in identification, authentication, authorization, and contact management.

Requirements

  • An application-specific need for information about students, faculty, or staff, to be used for official University of Wisconsin administrative or academic purposes.

Getting Started

The approval process for identity data integration requests include a review by the appropriate Data Custodians, and a separate review by the Office of Cybersecurity. Please allow seven to ten days for the data review process to be completed. Once approved, Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologists will contact you to discuss development and implementation.
