While progress was made on designs in the first half of March, the design work was delayed with the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Work from home mandates and further precautions to avoid the spread of the illness forced much of the Field Services team to work from home.
During this time, the team has been focusing on preparation for potential upcoming deployments and working from floor plans as much as possible to make progress on designs. The absence of students has allowed Westphal and the Electric Shop to make great progress working through many buildings that will be fully ready for deployment when possible.
Field services will evaluate when it can return to campus work after network leadership determines the best course of action.
