IT governance

Engaging faculty, staff and students in decisions that affect them is an important part of how UW–‍Madison works. Governance helps us set priorities, determine policy, allocate budget and evaluate effectiveness.

Vice Provost & CIO

Didier Contis, Vice Provost for Information Technology & Chief Information Officer, directs the Division of Information Technology (DoIT), as well as the university offices of the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer.
