Celebrating 2026 ITA graduates

On Saturday, June 6, 37 high school students will graduate from UW–Madison’s Information Technology Academy (ITA). ITA is a precollege program that provides low-income and first-generation students with a structured, multi-year experience designed to build technical and academic skills that will prepare them for future educational success.

Since ITA began 26 years ago, 97% of ITA graduates have been accepted to higher education institutions, proving the program is extraordinarily skilled at readying students for postsecondary opportunities.

2026 graduates

This year, all 37 ITA graduates will move on to higher education after high school. In fact, 23 of the ITA grads were admitted to the University of Wisconsin–Madison. This is one of the strongest matriculation outcomes to date.

The entire ITA team is thrilled for this graduating class and is excited to see just how much each student continues to develop and shine.
