If you missed the recent LabArchives training, the recording is now available. LabArchives representative Gloria Yarandi walks through Forms and Widgets — two features that help customers structure how data is recorded in their notebook, so entries stay standardized and consistent over time.

Widgets are interactive, reusable entries you can add to any notebook page — think calculators, checklists, SOPs, and inventory trackers. LabArchives includes 24+ built-in options, and UW–Madison users can build their own with the Widget Manager or browse ready-to-use ones in the Widget Library.

Forms go a step further. Built with a simple drag-and-drop tool, Forms let you collect structured data across multiple notebook pages or team members, then export it all as a CSV for analysis.
