The call for proposals is now open for the 2025 UW–Madison IT Professionals Conference! Submit your proposal today to share your innovative ideas with colleagues across campus.
Proposals are due March 28 at 5pm CT, so don’t delay. This year’s IT Professionals Conference will be hybrid, with in-person sessions on May 29 and virtual sessions on May 30.
Now in its 8th year, the conference is a professional development opportunity created by and for information technology professionals designed to help you find new solutions, develop new skills and make connections across UW’s broad IT community. It’s the perfect place to get in the weeds with your colleagues and dig into ideas, big and small.
Have you solved a tricky problem with a creative solution? Implemented an innovative new tool or process? Gained valuable lessons from a project or experience? We want to hear about it! The conference planning committee welcomes proposals on all kinds of IT-related topics.
Presenting is a great change to build your public speaking skills and share your expertise in a relaxed environment among your peers. You don’t need presentation experience to participate—we encourage everyone, from seasoned speakers to first-timers, to submit a proposal.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss a potential session idea, we’re here to help. Email us at itproconf@wisc.edu.
We look forward to your submissions!
