Honorlock – Frequent updates & releases
Anyone using or interested in Honorlock should keep an eye on their frequent updates and releases–the most recent releases have occurred on September 3, 5 and 11. See the Honorlock release notes for details.
Atomic Assessments – September 9 updates
For our colleagues using Atomic Assessments, a rather substantial update was released just this week. See the Atomic Jolt knowledgebase for details on the new and improved features and bug fixes.
Top Hat – September 18 webinar
Thursday, September 18, at 1:00 pm (CT), the vendor for Top Hat is hosting a free webinar titled “Tired of Playing Classroom Cop?” The presenter will explore how “same-side pedagogy” can help restore balance and healthy engagement to an often disconnected modern classroom. Engage – Spring ordering period begins October 20
At UW–Madison, instructors use Engage to manage and deliver eTexts and digital learning tools (DLTs) for their courses. The ordering period for these digital options for Spring 2026 begins on Friday, October 20, and runs through Friday, December 1.

To review what resources (i.e. textbooks) are available in digital form, open the Engage order tool, and browse the catalog.
Learn@UW – Fall 2025 training blitz recap
Thank you to all who attended Learn@UW’s fall 2025 training blitz. By and large, it was a big success. There were 200 attendees for 23 sessions ranging from our repeat topics (like Canvas basics) as well as new courses on hot topics like Gradescope, Canvas New Quizzes, and the new UDOIT Advantage!
