The MyUW Forward Project has an updated timeline. The new MyUW experience will be available to select user groups beginning in November 2026, with a full transition to the updated platform planned for summer 2027.

The original timeline called for a single go-live date in summer 2026. The updated schedule gives the team time to:

• Complete additional quality assurance and accessibility testing
• Conduct invite-only user testing and incorporate feedback
• Minimize overlap with other major university system updates, including DoIT’s IT Service Management tool and updates to SIS

What to expect

Fall semester 2026: The new MyUW will begin rolling out to select user groups. During this period, you will still have access to the current MyUW.

November 2026 to spring 2027: Both versions of MyUW will be available. The project team will gather feedback and make improvements during this time.

Summer 2027: The new MyUW will become the default experience for everyone. The project team will begin retiring the previous platform.
