The Cybersecurity Forward Planning Committee is looking for new members! Interested in joining? Fill out this Google Form (Source: docs.google.com) by Friday, February 4.

About Cybersecurity Forward

Cybersecurity Forward shares professional expertise of cybersecurity fundamentals, leadership, and technical skills with beginning to mid-career IT and cybersecurity professionals. We have engaging presenters from the UW system, government, and private organizations.

Cybersecurity Forward was a one-day, in-person conference until 2020 when it became a twelve-week, hour-long webinar series. We imagine that this year’s conference will be a six-week webinar series from June to July. Help us fill in the details for 2022 and shape future conferences!

As a committee member you will:

  • Gain experience working on a conference planning committee for one to two years
  • Participate in weekly one-hour planning meetings and activities
  • Attend and potentially moderate or run fascinating presentations
  • Build skills and experience in areas such as design, marketing and outreach, event logistics, committee administration, presenter communications, and chairing a committee
  • Work closely with one or two committee leads or assume a committee lead role in an area of your interest

Fill out this Google Form (Source: docs.google.com) by Friday, February 4 to let us know you are interested in joining.
