Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall training

To reduce the risk of cyber threats and to protect against certain vulnerabilities, UW–Madison has employed the advanced features of Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall (Source: paloaltonetworks.com). Those tasked with understanding the ins and outs of Palo Alto may find the learning curve to be steep. To help, we have gathered training and support articles for firewall efforts such as installing a VPN client, adding firewall rules, creating custom reports and much more.

As you work through these training pieces, we ask that you keep the baseline practices in mind. This will help to ensure that items such as naming conventions, adding tags to rules, and maintaining accurate documentation are aligned across campus units.
