Join us at the Electronic Research Notebook (ERN) Forum – a game-changing 2-day event focused on advancing research documentation and data management!

Digital notebooks are useful tools for recording and documenting data, code and the methods and results of research. UW–‍Madison researchers have access to several notebooks and ancillary tools that can be used for “bench” science, computational work, and qualitative research.

Discover the latest trends in electronic research/lab notebooks, inventory tools, and gain valuable insights into optimizing your data management practices. Engage with vendors and current users on campus and explore how these platforms can enhance your research efficiency and reproducibility.

Registration for each day is required.

August 8th: Learn more about Signals, a notebook for recording chemistry synthesis experiments and Jupyter for running, documenting, and sharing your computational work

August 9th: Learn all about LabArchives, the UW–‍Madison’s licensed Electronic Lab Notebook, including basic and advanced features
