Nominate your exceptional colleagues for the 2025 IT Recognition Awards
We work with excellent people who do awesome things. Help your colleagues get the recognition they deserve by nominating them for the 2025 IT Recognition Awards!
Now in its 6th year, UW–Madison’s annual IT Recognition Awards honor our colleagues who excel at what they do and strengthen our IT community. Nominations are due by Sunday, April 27.
You can choose from 7 awards when making your nomination:
- Ellen La Luzerne Community Builder Award
- Janet E. Plato Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Rising Star Award
- Team Achievement Award
- Transformational Achievement Award
- Unsung Hero
All UW–Madison academic and university staff working in the information and technology fields are eligible. A selection committee of IT peers from across the university will review all nominations and select this year’s winners. Review the awards descriptions and scoring rubric for more details about the awards and how honorees are chosen. You can also review our guidelines for nominators for tips on writing a good nomination letter.
The 2025 honorees will receive their awards during a ceremony at the IT Professionals Conference on May 29. If you have any questions about the nomination process or awards, please email it-awards@g-groups.wisc.edu.
