IT Leaders Program applications open through July 13
Applications are open for the 2026–27 IT Leaders Program (ITLP). These programs are returning to UW–Madison after last year’s pause.
Applications are due Monday, July 13, by 11:59pm.
Program overview
- 10-month program starting fall 2026
- Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) cohort: Participants travel to Big Ten institutions for in-person sessions
- Universities of Wisconsin cohort: Participants travel to UW campuses, with a mix of in-person and online sessions
- Hybrid local learning sessions bring participants from both cohorts together for reflection
How to apply
Step 1: Submit your application by July 13 at 11:59pm.
Step 2: After you apply, your supervisor gets an automated email with a form to complete. Your supervisor must complete this form for your application to be considered.
You’ll hear back by the end of the month about whether you were selected.
If you’re accepted to a cohort:
- The Office of the Chief Information Officer pays your program fees
- Your department pays for your travel, lodging and per diem
