Due to continued increases in individual part costs, Dell has announced price increases between 10% and 15% on laptops, desktops and accessories.

The most recent round of increases took effect in late April.

What this means for you

If you anticipate purchases in the next month, we recommend placing orders soon to minimize the impact of future pricing changes. Dell’s adjustment takes effect Saturday, June 20, and with increased lifecycle replacements ahead of fiscal year-end, these changes may appear in inventory sooner than usual.

Future outlook

Dell has indicated that additional price increases are expected throughout the rest of the year, though the timing and magnitude of future adjustments have not yet been announced.
