What’s happening

Honorlock – Releasing new updates

On July 1, Honorlock will release new updates for the web app (11.4), the mobile app (2.2), and the desktop app (2.2). The most notable improvements concern the Session Viewer, proctor warnings, analytics, and accessibility. For details, review Honorlock Release Notes.  

Canvas – Roll Call tool maintenance, July 1

On July 1, 11:00 p.m., Instructure will perform maintenance on the Canvas Roll Call Attendance tool. Roll Call will be unavailable during the maintenance period, which will last for approximately four hours. This update is not expected to impact any other functionality in Canvas. Canvas – Maintenance outage, July 15

On July 15, at 2:00 a.m., Instructure will perform necessary maintenance on Canvas. This may result in a 30 to 60 minutes of interrupted or unstable service.

UDOIT Advantage Summer School 2026

Cidi Labs is hosting two hours of UDOIT training this summer. All educators and instructional support staff are welcome to join.

  • Day 1: Wednesday, August 12, from 12:00 p.m. CT to 1:00 p.m. Learn how to identify and remediate common accessibility issues in Canvas pages, assignments, discussions, and other course content using UDOIT Advantage.
  • Day 2: Thursday, August 13, from 12:00 p.m. CT to 1:00 p.m. Learn how to scan your Canvas course files for accessibility issues and create alternate formats that improve accessibility and support different ways students engage with course materials.
