Workshop: Building Better Research Software in R

Much of modern research involves software (eg, analysis pipelines, data cleaning, simulation, figure generation and reporting). So becoming more proficient at building research software will pay off quickly. Your work becomes easier to reproduce, easier to review, and easier to maintain as projects (and teams) evolve.

This session is a homegrown UW–‍Madison initiative, run by campus research computing/data science folks who work with researchers every day. We are also running this pilot in collaboration with The Carpentries, a nonprofit that teaches foundational coding and data science skills to researchers through hands-on, volunteer-led workshops.
