Work perks: Sign up for IT coffee meetups this fall
As the leaves begin changing color and the UW–Madison campus settles into the fall semester rhythm, there’s no better time to warm up with a cup of coffee and friendly conversation. Registration is open for Information & Technology Coffee Connections for the 2024-25 academic year!
Sign up by Monday, October 21, to be paired with a colleague for informal get-togethers this winter. It’s a fun, no-stress way to make new connections with your university IT peers.
Why join?
- Expand your network in the university IT community
- Discover shared interests and collaboration opportunities
- Enjoy flexible, casual meetings that work for your schedule
How it works
- Complete the sign-up form by Oct 21 (you must sign up to participate, even if you’ve signed up in the past)
- On Oct 22, we’ll randomly pair you with a colleague
- Reach out to schedule your first meetup at your convenience
What happens next is up to you and your connection. You can pick a time and place or opt to meet online. You could meet at a spot on campus or at a favorite local coffee shop. You don’t even have to drink coffee if that’s not your thing.
I&T Coffee Connections is open to all UW–Madison employees in the information or technology fields. Whether this is your first time or you’ve been with us from the start, we promise you’ll get something out of participating.
Questions? The IT Professionals Steering Committee is here to help! Email ITPSC@mailplus.wisc.edu, and we’ll get back to you promptly.
