Qualtrics retiring Legacy Results-Reports — act before March 17

Qualtrics is retiring Legacy Results-Reports. If you built a custom page in a report and still need it, save it or rebuild it in Results Dashboards before March 17, 2027.

Does this affect me?

  • Yes, if you created a custom page by selecting Create Custom Page in the Results tab of your survey.
  • No, if you only use question pages — the pages Qualtrics creates for you, one per survey question. These migrate to Results Dashboards automatically.
  • No, if you no longer need your custom page because the information is outdated or preserved elsewhere already and doesn’t have a records retention schedule.

How to tell if you have a custom page

Open the Results tab of your survey and look at the list of pages. A page is a custom page if:

  • You named it yourself
  • You can delete it
  • It shows data from more than one question
  • It’s listed above the question pages with a dividing line

Extra visualizations or a different color scheme don’t make a page custom.

What do I need to do?

If you have a custom page you still need, do one or both before March 17, 2027:

Try Results Dashboards now: go to the Results tab and select Try it now. Until Nov. 1, you can switch back by selecting Settings, then Themes, then Revert dashboard.

Important dates

  1. Nov. 1, 2026: Results Dashboards becomes the default for all new surveys. You can no longer create new custom pages in Legacy Results-Reports.
  2. March 17, 2027: You can no longer edit Legacy Results-Reports. This is your deadline to save or rebuild custom pages.
  3. April 1, 2027: You can no longer view Legacy Results-Reports.

Note: Qualtrics support pages list incorrect, earlier dates from an older version of their rollout plan. The dates above are the current dates for UW–Madison Qualtrics users.
