We want to inform you of two updates with UW–Madison web conferencing tools:
Zoom Desktop Software
The Zoom desktop app and Zoom Outlook plugin are now available through the self-service software portal. Please follow these instructions to sign in to the Zoom Desktop Client. DoIT will deploy the software to all managed computers starting Tuesday, September 15.

Webex Upgrade – Wednesday, September 8
Cisco will upgrade UW–Madison’s Webex site to 40.9 starting Wednesday, September 8. Your Webex software will update automatically the next time you join a meeting (here are instructions to manually perform the update once released). We recommend joining your next Webex session early to leave enough time to upgrade and familiarize yourself with its new features. (As of Sept 8, a few features were pushed to Sept 15). Please see this document for more details.
