The Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is hosting a workshop for UW–? Madison IT leaders. Service owners and leaders from both distributed IT and central services teams will come together to discuss topics related to Zero Trust and the Smart Access program.
In addition to the IT Leaders’ workshop, an information session and a series of focus groups will be held. The additional engagements will provide opportunities for all IT professionals to learn more and discuss the Smart Access program.
The workshop and focus groups aim to:
- Build awareness of the Smart Access Program
- Assess the impact of selecting Microsoft as our primary platform for new centrally supported services
- Identify what the program should consider:
- In the decision-making process
- While testing
- During implementation
- Solicit feedback on how to engage with Campus, IT departments, and staff
- Create a shared understanding of the anticipated impact and department needs
