After thorough testing, Departmental Support will be approving Windows 10 v21H2 feature updates next Tuesday (4/12/22). This approval will only affect systems currently running Windows 10 and will not upgrade earlier versions of Windows.
This update is more substantial than our standard monthly patching. We encourage you to restart or proceed with this update at a time that will not impact your workflow, such as at the end of the business day.
Please also note that our Windows Update server is currently only available while on the campus network (including WiscVPN). Given that a greater number of devices are off campus in the current environment, please ensure your computer is connected to a stable campus network connection to allow the download to complete.
