DoIT’s Enterprise Business Systems group will be upgrading the UWP1 database to Oracle version 19c from 6am – 10am on Sunday, May 29. This upgrade is needed to bring the UWP1 database to a version that is supported by the vendor. Our current version (Oracle 12c) is no longer receiving software updates.
Impact
During this upgrade, the UWP1 database will not be available. This is a regularly scheduled maintenance window, and our expectation is that the upgrade will be completed within the 6am – 10am timeframe.
Request
This shared database has been in use for a number of years. If this is a database that you regularly use, please let us know by contacting ebs-odbas@office365.wisc.edu as this will aid us in future communications.
