The UW–Madison Event Management Service (EMS) is used by departments across campus to manage building resources and provide self-scheduling options for rooms/spaces. EMS, the application used by the service, underlies everything from Today in the Union (T.I.T.U) to study room reservations at UW–Madison’s libraries.
EMS will experience a 1-day outage on Monday, June 24 as part of a planned upgrade. During this time, self-scheduling options will be unavailable, though units that use EMS for digital signage will still be able to do so. Additional information will be posted on the UW–Madison Division of Information Technology’s Outages page in the weeks leading up to the upgrade.
