A message from Chief Information Officer Lois Brooks: UW Women in IT was founded 10 years ago by a dedicated group of IT professionals who set out to improve the recruitment, retention and advancement of women in technology roles at the university.

UW Women in IT (UW-WIT) is a vibrant community dedicated to improving the recruitment, retention and advancement of women in technology roles across campus. UW–WIT offers mentoring, networking opportunities and engaging professional development and leadership events. Membership is open to all genders.
