I’m pleased to share with you that Anand Vangipuram will serve as interim director of Enterprise Business Systems. Anand joined UW–Madison 20 years ago and has served in a series of enterprise management positions at UW–Madison and UW-Whitewater since then. He currently serves as the director of the University Enterprise, a division of Enterprise Business Systems. Anand brings a wealth of experience to this role and I appreciate his willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
Anand succeeds Adam Paulick, who has been appointed associate vice chancellor and executive director for enterprise applications for the newly forming Workday support organization within the UW–Madison division of Finance and Administration. I extend my sincere gratitude to Adam for his service and collegiality, and look forward to collaborating with him in his new role.
Anand is looking forward to taking on this additional responsibility and he is grateful to be working closely with Adam in his new role. Adam, Anand and Steve Hart are working together on transition planning and will share more details as these plans develop.
