Using Box Sync? Learn how to switch to Box Drive
If you’re still using Box Sync, you should switch to Box Drive as soon as possible, and no later than December 1, 2026.
Box Drive now offers a faster, smarter and more secure way to access your cloud content directly from the desktop — without the overhead of local storage. With recent enhancements such as folder redirection for Windows devices and the hide/unhide files and folders capability (available starting in v2.48), Box Drive offers several features built for collaboration, compliance and scale.
