Join the Office of Cybersecurity for a panel discussion on Monday, October 26, 2-3pm for Cybersecurity Awareness Month. This year’s theme is “Do your part. #BeCyberSmart.” It encourages individuals and organizations to own their role in protecting their part of cyberspace, stressing personal accountability and the importance of taking proactive steps to enhance cybersecurity. (This panel discussion will be recorded.)
The panel session will consist of the Cybersecurity leadership team recognizing individuals who have done their part to be cybersmart and a discussion of the state of UW–Madison cybersecurity, including:
- Working from home securely
- The overall risk with UW–Madison
- The Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) integration of plays
- How to interact with the CSOC
- Governance, risk, and compliance
- Programs, policy, and strategy
