The new generative AI services page is your first stop for discovering powerful and secure generative artificial intelligence services available to all university students and employees.
This user-friendly guide will help you find:
- Enterprise AI tools available to all UW community members
- Subscription-based AI services that faculty and staff can request
- Information on which tools are approved for different types of university data
- UW’s policies, ethical guidelines and security considerations for AI use
- AI-related events, news and community groups
- Answers to frequently asked questions about university AI
The page covers generative AI services like the Microsoft Copilot chatbot, which grants secure access to the latest generative models from OpenAI. You can also explore AI meeting assistant tools from Webex and Zoom, including guidance on how and when you can use them. It also provides information on more advanced services like Amazon Web Services Bedrock and Microsoft Azure AI for those who need them.
