Lunch-and-learn series highlights alternatives to DoIT Confluence, Jira

Due to a licensing change, the current DoIT instances of Jira and Confluence will be discontinued on January 31, 2025. This change affects the users of https://jira.doit.wisc.edu/ and https://wiki.doit.wisc.edu/confluence/.

Jira project and Confluence space owners are encouraged to migrate to alternative services or to self-managed and licensed Atlassian products by December 13, 2024.

To help users navigate this change, the DoIT Shared Tools team is hosting a series of virtual lunch-and-learns highlighting features of alternative tools, including GitLab, WiscWeb and the KnowledgeBase (KB). Sessions are open to both DoIT Jira/Confluence users looking to migrate to other tools, or those who have a general interest in learning more about these platforms.

Check out the series below or bookmark the lunch and learn KB. Sessions can also be found on today.wisc.edu or in the events feed at the bottom of it.wisc.edu. For more information about Jira and Confluence being discontinued, check out this post.
