I am pleased to announce that Anand Vangipuram and Steve Hart have accepted director positions within Enterprise Business Systems (EBS).
Anand has accepted the role of university enterprise director. Prior to his current position with the Administrative Transformation Program (ATP), Anand was an EBS associate director, leading the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Administration team and the ERP Application Support team. Anand has significant information technology and higher education leadership experience with the majority of his experience working at UW–Madison.
Anand adds: “I am excited to take on this new challenge and look forward to continuing the great work performed by the team. I am also looking forward to collaborating with our partners and talented colleagues to continue to further this important work.”
Steve will be taking on the enterprise resource planning administration director position. Steve is currently an associate director in User Services, leading the Productivity and Collaborative Solutions team. He was previously a member of the EBS management team, where he led the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Applications team. Steve has extensive experience in ERP system development and operations.
“I am excited to return to EBS and take on this new role within the department. I look forward to partnering with the talented staff and stakeholders throughout the department, UW–Madison and UW System,” says Steve.
Anand’s and Steve’s breadth of experiences, commitment to excellence and strong leadership skills will help us navigate the continued change as the ATP and ancillary systems work accelerates. Change will continue for us as a Workday support organization is established, new UW–Madison support needs are identified, and Human Resource System (HRS), Shared Financial System (SFS) and related data warehouses are decommissioned.
Steve and Anand will begin in their new roles on February 26.
