Digital Signage

DoIT can provide digital signage solutions using Visix solutions. Digital signage can be used to communicate information to wide audiences using large format displays with customizable content. New signage implementations require up-front licensing and hosting fees. After the initial setup, the annual support cost for the system is billed. The requestor must cover the equipment and licensing costs associated with this service.

Requirements

  • A subject matter expert to create content for your department
  • A support agreement with DoIT
  • DoIT will assist the requestor with selecting the proper equipment, and purchasing or installing the following:
    • Visix license
    • Large format display
    • Windows computer
    • Network connection
    • Power
    • Display installation

Options

  • You can purchase the Windows computer through your IT department if you have one, but DoIT must handle the ongoing management of that device for you. Our recommendation is to purchase the computer through DoIT.

Pricing

In addition to the costs outlined below, the requesting department must purchase the items listed in the requirements section, such as the display and network connection.
