InfoLabs open with reduced services, but new alternative available

UW-Madison InfoLabs, located at multiple partner sites across campus, provide computer lab spaces and equipment to support students’ out-of-the-classroom software and technology needs. This fall, the InfoLabs will continue to provide both equipment checkout and physical computer lab access, although both the number of locations and the breadth of services will be reduced in support of campus COVID-19 safety guidelines.

As a result, the InfoLabs are temporarily offering a new Remote InfoLab service that connects students to InfoLabs Windows workstations. This new service will allow students to use the software from the InfoLabs but from the convenience and safety of their personal Mac or Windows computer.

InfoLabs are committed to providing services as safety protocols allow. To stay up to date on what InfoLabs services are available amid regularly changing circumstances, please visit the InfoLabs service page.
