Looking for an easy way to engage an audience during a presentation, workshop, meeting, town hall, training, or other event? Look no further than our centrally supported Top Hat tool! You may know that instructors use Top Hat to engage students in their courses, but now Top Hat also has a Guest Mode that allows anyone to join a Top Hat room whether they have a Top Hat account or not. This new feature makes it much easier to use Top Hat outside of a classroom setting to engage and interact with attendees of other events as long as they have a device with internet capabilities. Anyone can use Top Hat Guest Mode!
Once your audience uses the QR code to join your Top Hat room, you can use all of Top Hat’s polling features to engage them including:
- Multiple choice or multi-select opinion questions
- Click-on-target questions to identify a part of an image or a location on a map
- General comprehension questions to understand how well they know your topic
- Word clouds
- Top Hat discussions for longer, more detailed responses
Please note that because Top Hat Guest Mode is intended to be used for events with non-registered participants, it is not available in courses with registered Top Hat students.
