Your name is beautiful and important, which is why it’s so important to get it right. Accurate name pronunciations help to promote inclusion, belonging and rapport in every interaction.
This is why we adopted NameCoach, a tool that allows Canvas users to audio record the proper pronunciation of their names. Instructors and individuals enrolled in the same courses will be able to access and listen to those recordings. We are excited to roll out this tool as part of our campus accessibility and inclusivity efforts.
