DoIT Departmental Support (DS) will be implementing controls to block and/or remove TikTok from DS-managed devices in accordance with UW–Madison and Universities of Wisconsin policy.
These controls will be different based on the platform used (iOS vs macOS vs Windows; etc) but in each case there should be no user impact save for those attempting to install TikTok directly on their UW-owned system. Per policy, TikTok access will still be accessible through its website.
