‘Engage & Inspire: The New College Classroom’

Each year, the Teaching & Learning Symposium brings together faculty, staff, graduate students and post-docs to discuss high-impact educational practices. The 2025 symposium will take place May 15 at Union South and the theme is “Engage and Inspire: The New College Classroom.”

We are seeking proposals for engaging presentations and posters that spotlight learning across campus. Proposals should specifically address one or more of the following topics within the theme “Engage and Inspire: The New College Classroom.” Examples include:

  • Connecting with and motivating students
  • Innovation in teaching
  • Using technology to engage students
  • Equitable and inclusive practices
  • Enriching students’ Wisconsin Experience
  • Collaborating with campus partners for student learning and success
  • Using student learning assessment to inform practice
