Your guide to printing on campus

Need to print that study guide for an upcoming review session? Unsure where to print that large-format poster? We have you covered with 18 InfoLabs (computer labs) throughout campus that make printing easy and affordable.

Get started with printing for students

Print from (almost) anywhere

  • Color and black-and-white laser printing is available at every general access InfoLab and at many libraries across campus.
  • Using mobile printing, you can set up your personal device to print from any release station in a campus library or InfoLab, and use your Wiscard account for payment.
  • Live on campus? Some residence halls have their own computer labs (called Media Centers) exclusively for UW Housing residents.

Printing on campus is convenient

  • InfoLabs are open during evening and weekend hours.
  • Most locations, including residence hall Media Centers, now offer wireless printing.

What it costs

Campus printing won’t break your budget.

  • Pricing costs vary by location.
  • At InfoLabs and most libraries, black-and-white printing costs just 7 cents per page, and color printing runs 60 cents per page.
  • Pay through your Wiscard account or a separate print account.

Need large format printing?

We’ve got you covered there, too. Standard 8.5 by 11 sheets work for most assignments, but what about posters? College Library, MERIT Library and Steenbock Library all offer large-format printing options.
