Having tech trouble? Contact the DoIT Help Desk

With the start of the semester upon us, it’s a busy time of year. Many of us rely on technology for our day-to-day work and it can be stressful if we run into tech trouble. That’s when you call the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) Help Desk.

The Help Desk provides support to faculty, staff and students on general computing issues and various UW applications. You can visit the Onsite Help Desk in Computer Sciences, or connect with them via phone, email or live chat. Visit their website for more information about services and ways to get support.

Support for contract partners

Contract partners (formerly known as VIPs) can seek support from the Level 2 Help Desk. The online portal serves as a hub to submit a variety of requests. Support channels available to departments supported by the DoIT can be found in the support options KB article. These updated channels include a phone number (608-265-6900) that connects you directly with Help Desk Level 2 support.
