InfoLabs open this fall

The InfoLabs will be open this fall with a full complement of in-person services after operating much of last year at reduced capacity due to the pandemic.

The UW–Madison InfoLabs program provides students access to out-of-the-classroom software and technology resources through physical computer lab spaces and equipment checkout, with conveniently located partner locations across campus. Notable changes students can expect to see this fall include:

  • Physical lab locations no longer require an appointment.
  • Laptop loan periods (including both Windows and Mac laptops) will be one week with the option to renew.
  • New 27” Mac desktop hardware is available at most lab locations.
  • Some lab locations will have workspaces containing dual monitors and docking stations to allow bring-your-own-device connections.
