They also provide input and guidance to the cybersecurity strategy for the entire campus.
Why should I attend?
MIST meetings are enshrined in the principle that security is a shared responsibility. Attending them will help you to:
- Stay Informed. You will hear updates on the latest IT security strategies, policies and tools.
- Develop professionally. MIST provides opportunities for professional growth and networking with other IT professionals and security experts on campus.
- Keep campus secure. Participation fosters a more comprehensive understanding of security needs and solutions by providing collaboration, communication and continuous learning among staff.
