Patrick McDaniel, UW–Madison Tsun-Ming Shih Chair in the College of Letters & Science, and Professor in the School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences (CDIS), will deliver the keynote address at this year’s IT Professionals Conference.
More about Professor Patrick McDaniel:
- Joined UW–Madison’s Computer Science department in Fall 2023
- Collaborates with faculty and conducts research in various areas of security, systems and policy, principally with the faculty of the UW–Madison Security and Privacy (MadS&P) security group
- Frequently advises graduate and post-doctoral students, which he greatly enjoys
- Fellow of the IEEE Computer Society, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)
