Last summer, in response to Google licensing changes, DoIT applied storage quotas to UW–Madison Google Workspace My Drives and shared drives. If you’re over the quota, you have a temporary, larger quota that will expire soon. We encourage you to take action on your account. Have questions? Need help? During office hours, we can:
- Answer questions about Google Workspace changes, including storage quotas.
- Discuss best practices for moving data/files from one type of drive to another, or one storage provider to another.
- Review your use case and share recommendations for alternative storage providers.
- Share details about the process to request a long-term quota exception, if needed.
