Provides comprehensive, research and enterprise-level data center facilities support for UW–Madison’s information technology infrastructure. IT equipment housed in DoIT’s Data Centers support critical services like CCI, Enterprise Shared Storage, My UW–Madison, Bucky Backup, Learn@UW, payroll and accounting systems. Additionally, the facilities provide economical high density research cluster hosting for CHTC, WIPAC, SMPH and more. Data Center Services hosts the connectivity of the UW–Madison campus network and other regional optical networks such as the Northern Tier Network (NTN) and BOREAS-Net, which serve UW–Madison and research institutions in Iowa, Minnesota and North Dakota and beyond.

Pricing
Service Level Agreements can be tailored to specific needs. Rates are based on cost recovery and calculated based on total rack units (RU): $50/month/1-2 RUs. Subsidized hosting is available for research or research supporting loads, please inquire for eligibility.
