How Can We Help?
Managed web platforms (KnowledgeBase, MyUW, WiscWeb). For some of the most common needs at our University for creating and sharing information, we provide managed web platforms for quickly and easily creating and managing web content. Users do not need to know how to code or how to maintain hosting infrastructure. These platforms also come pre-built with University-branded, feature-rich templates that help users to create accessible, performant, mobile-friendly web content. Technical users can also use some of these platforms as a springboard to deliver unique functionality while our team covers all maintenance, upkeep, user support, and infrastructure support.
Self-managed hosting (Web Hosting). Technical teams that require more flexibility and who wish to manage their applications directly on shared platforms and infrastructure. We offer the use of cloud and on-premise web hosting environments and the service supports those who require additional features such as custom web applications, sensitive/restricted data, and e-commerce.
Consultation, Training, & Support. If you do not know where to start or want help determining which services can help accomplish your goals, our team offers free consultation to help select options. All of our services have comprehensive support and training. We also work closely with the Center for User Experience to offer ideas and guidance for how to use web platforms to effectively communicate with your audience.
