Looking for information to get up and running with Canvas, fast? Learn@UW–Madison is proud to introduce the new Learn@UW–Madison Training Manuals Library. This library features written content sourced from our regularly offered teaching and learning tool training sessions. The current offering of training manuals covers mostly Canvas-specific content, but the library will be expanded over time to include manuals for other tools in the Learn@UW suite.
Why are we offering these training manuals? Over the years, we’ve received requests to develop written versions of the regular, real-time training we offer on tools such as Canvas, Kaltura and Top Hat. This request aligns with what we know about “learning styles”—some people like video, some people prefer hands-on, other people prefer written manuals.
Learn@UW–Madison offers a collection of over 15 real-time training courses presented regularly before the start of the fall and spring terms—as well as by request for interested groups of learners, such as a department. Video recordings of past sessions can be found on our Learn@UW–Madison Training Channel, in Kaltura MediaSpace. For more information about training opportunities, see the Learn@UW training page on our website.
