Promoting inclusive digital experiences
The Digital Accessibility Community of Practice promotes inclusive digital experiences and content across our campus community. Our focus includes websites, documents, and other multimedia items, aiming to make digital resources accessible to all. We welcome anyone who engages with digital materials, especially those who produce content or work in technical roles related to digital accessibility.

Mission, values and history
Our mission is to promote inclusive digital experiences and content at UW–Madison by cultivating community and providing opportunities to learn about best practices for digital accessibility. We value collaboration, inclusivity and continuous learning in the field of digital accessibility.
Established in 2019, the Digital Accessibility Community of Practice has been instrumental in spreading information about digital accessibility across campus. Our impact has been particularly notable in disseminating information about the university’s Digital Accessibility policy.
Digital Accessibility Community is part of UW-IT Connects, a coalition of volunteer IT professionals from across the university dedicated to breaking down silos by providing resources and opportunities for UW’s IT community to learn and grow together.
