Mission, values and history

Our mission is to promote inclusive digital experiences and content at UW–‍Madison by cultivating community and providing opportunities to learn about best practices for digital accessibility. We value collaboration, inclusivity and continuous learning in the field of digital accessibility.

Established in 2019, the Digital Accessibility Community of Practice has been instrumental in spreading information about digital accessibility across campus. Our impact has been particularly notable in disseminating information about the university’s Digital Accessibility policy.
